Steady State Analysis and Simulation of AC chopper Fed Capacitor-Run Induction Motors

Abstract

This paper presents steady state analysis and simulation of single pulse width modulated ac chopper fed capacitor run induction motor for variable speed operation. The d-q axis model of the cpacitor run motor is used for simulation study. Experimental results are provided to validate the simulation study.

Currently working as an assistant professor in Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department, Regional Engineering College, Tiruchirappalli. Areas of interest are Power Electronics drives and Simulation.
