Abstract
DC permanent magnet motors are extensively used in position control system. The dynamics of induction motor using vector control are equivalent to that of PWM-controlled dc servo drives. A novel fuzzy logic controller based position control of induction motor using vector control techniques is presented in this paper. Here, the switching patterns of devices are generated directly by fuzzy logic. Simulation results show that the proposed control system recovers steady state, and damps out transient error quickly.
