Pages 295-300 | Published online: 26 Mar 2015

Abstract

Petri Net (PN) is a commonly used versatile tool for analysis of Discrete Event Dynamic systems (DEDS). In this paper PN is applied to demonstrate network connectivity under various connectivity options. The network components are susceptible to failure and get repaired in due course. A PN based complete failure repair dynamics of the network connectivity for various optional routings are presented. This provides a means for evaluating the network connectivity for reliability.
