A Scene Based Video Watermarking Using Slant Transform

, &

ABSTRACT

Due to the explosion of Internet and multimedia copyright protection has gained utmost importance. Digital watermarking is found to be a solution for digital copyright protection. In this paper, a robust video watermarking based on slant transform is presented. The video is partitioned into frames and owner's identity watermark is embedded in slant transform domain by modifying the transform coefficients. The transparency of the watermarked image is enhanced by embedding the watermark in selected positions based on the human visual system (HVS) weightage matrix. The robustness of the proposed algorithm is examined by subjecting the algorithm to various compressional and signal processing attacks. Peak signal to noise ratio and normalized cross correlation are computed to prove that the proposed algorithm is more imperceptible and robust.
