ABSTRACT
This report describes a computer-based model of the formation and development of cold air in hilly terrain under conditions of outgoing radiation. The model parameters include properties of the cold air, topography, land use, duration of the period of outgoing radiation etc. The computer draws maps of the extent and thickness of the cold air for different times of the night. The results of experiments with the model indicate that it can be used practically for climatic predictions in conjunction with climate-improving measures or planning activities etc.
