Abstract
The following essay—Reflections of a young English Jew—is one of the prize-winning entries for the Ralph Yablon Literary Award, instituted in association with The Jewish Quarterly in 1966. Allogether 13 entries were awarded prizes ranging from £10 tc £50. This is the fourth of the entries to be published; the others will be printed in subsequent issues.—Dr. Jonathan Magonet, after graduating in Medicine, is now a student at the Leo Baeck College, training for the Rabbinate.
