Abstract
In our Autumn, 1979, issue we reported briefly on a Jewish Art Exhibition in Glasgow, which was arranged in connection with the centenary of the Garnethill Synagogue there. The following article elaborates on some aspects of the exhibition in an attempt to establish some kind of unity between Jewish artists of various lands and backgrounds.
Professor Merchant is a man of many talents: theologian, scholar, sculptor, poet, and writer on art. In each of these fields he works with energy and distinction.
