Abstract
September 13 marked the tenth anniversary of the signing of the Oslo Accords, but there is no cause for celebration. In the three years since the eruption of the al-Aqsa intifada, which heralded the final breakdown of the Oslo peace process, there have been numerous unsuccessful efforts to lure Israelis and Palestinians back to the negotiating table for meaningful dialogue. But recently a new joint initiative has emerged that attempts to enlist widespread public support from both sides for a definitive peacc agreement.
