Understanding and Helping Children Who Do Not Talk In School

Abstract

“…there is a special group of children who do not talk in school but are troubled by the demands of living and learning in the classroom. A closer look at these children reveals their decision to be silent is not a healthy response to classroom rules but a symptom of an emotional problem.”
