Abstract
SLAM, a Simulation Language for Alternative Modeling, has been used to model and analyze diverse industrial operations. In this paper, a brief introduction to SLAM will be given which will be followed by a description of three applications. In each application, the objectives, modeling concepts, results, and benefits are presented. The three applications are:
Evaluation of a proposed facility for producing a rocket launch system
Design and analysis of a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility
Analysis of methods for distributing oil products.
