Abstract
Chemical and biological activities of living organisms are closely related to the spatial structures of chemical compounds, revealing the high stereochemical control of reactions into living systems. As a result, structural and conformational analyses have become important steps in compounds and functional groups, as well as the reactivity on the cell surface which does not destroy it. Sophisticated Raman technology based on the microscope will also be very useful in the study of chromophore poplations of identified cells “in vivo.”
