Brigitta Olubas is Convenor of English, Film Studies and Creative Writing at the University of New South Wales. She is editor of JASAL (Journal of the Association for the Study of Australian Literature). Her most recent publications include an edited volume of Shirley Hazzard’s nonfiction writings, We Need Silence to Find Out What We Think (Columbia UP, 2016) and essays on the writing of Nam Le, published in Antipodes journal (December 2016), and in the MLA Teaching Australian and New Zealand Literature volume (edited by N Birns, N Moore and S Shieff, 2017).
