Co-ordinating Australia’s Maritime Policies – Submissions to Government

Abstract

In June last year, the Chairman of the Australian Centre for Maritime Studies wrote to the Prime Minister to express concern about the apparent lack of machinery within the Commonwealth Government for coordinating Australia’s maritime policies (a copy of this letter is reprinted below for the information of members). Subsequently a. reply (also reprinted below) was received from the Minister Assisting the Prime Minister.
