Abstract
This paper describes a simple, efficient and reliable method for estimating the state of an integrated multiterminal HVDC/AC power system in the rectangular coordinate form. A six variable model is used to represent the converter system. The proposed algorithm performs succesfully in obtaining the state of an AC system with a DC link or a multiterminal DC network. It is possible to implement it for an on-line state estimation. Simulation results of a 30-busbar system are presented for illustration.
