Abstract

The effects of dilution on the transition temperature of two dimensional Ising systems (monolayers) have been investigated in lattices with nearest neighbours interactions (n_eff = 4) and for the equivalent-neighbor model with n_eff = 8,12. The dependence of T _c with n_eff is found to be approximately linear for c ≤ 0.4
