Abstract
An expression for total pyroelectric current considering nonlinear phenomena caused by thermally generated electric field and D.C. external bias is given. It was also shown that for external D.C. bias field reaching a value about 600 Vcm−1 the nonlinearities in the pyroelectric current response are wholly reduced, which is in a good agreement with experimental data.
