Abstract

Composites of PZT with different polymeric compositions viz. Vinyl Acetate-Vinyl Chloride (VA-VC) co-polymer, Amide cured Epoxy (ACE), Nitrile Rubber-Poly Vnyl Chloride (NR-PVC) blend and piezoelectric poly Vinyledene Fluoride (PVDF) were prepared and the dielectric properties were studied. New dielectric relaxation peaks were observed in the VA-VC and PVDF containing composites owing to the interaction of the molecular motion of the polymer chains with PZT.
