Pressure and temperature effects in the EPR of iron(III) in guanidinum aluminum sulphate hexahydrate

Abstract

Paramagnetic resonance in single crystals of guanidinum aluminum sulphate hexahydrate with Fe3+ ions partially substituting aluminum have been studied under the influence of hydrostatic and uniaxial pressure. The results of the EPR obtained at a single orientation (c perpendicular to b) have been interpreted in terms of a simplified, axial spin hamiltonian.
