Abstract

Temperature dependencies of longitudinal acoustic wave velocity and attenuation had been measured in crystals of DIGLYCINE NITRATE (DGN), (NH₂CH₃OOH)2HNO₃, after and before ultraviolet (UV) and neutron irradiation. It was observed that radiation induced defects change dramatically the acoustic properties near the Phase Transition (PT) temperature.
