9-(6-Deoxy- β -D-Allofuranosyl)Adenine Cyclic 3′,5′ -Phosphor-Amidate: A New Cyclic AMP Amide Derivative Containing an Equatorial Methyl Group at the 5′-Position

Abstract

R _P and S _P phosphorus diastereoisomers of the title compound (2) are prepared from the corresponding cyclic monophosphate. Solution conformation of the dioxaphosphor-inane ring and hydrolysis of R _p-2 and S _p-2 are studied and compared with those of the phosphorus diastereoisomers of the isomeric compound that contains the 5′-methyl group in the axial position.
