Abstract

Adenosine A₁ receptors in the smooth muscle cell line DDT₁ MF-2 were characterized by radioligand binding using the antagonist [³H]-8-cyclopentyl-1,3-dipropylxanthine ([³H]DPCPX) as the ligand. Binding properties of adenosine agonists and antagonists to both intact cells and membranes were investigated.
