Abstracts

A simple route towards 4,4-dihydroxymethyl-cyclohexane nucleosides has been developed. The structure of 4,4-dihydroxymethyl-1-(thymin-1-y1)-cyclohexane was confirmed by X-ray analysis. The synthesized compounds were inactive against all viruses tested.
