The Chemical Synthesis of E. coli tRNA^Lys Anticodon Loop Fragment and Its Analogues

Abstract

E. coli tRNA^Lys anticodon loop fragment (Umnm⁵sUUUt⁶A) 1 and its analogues 2–6 were synthesized by the classical phosphotriester approach in solution. The preparation of suitably protected derivatives of N⁶-threonylcarbamoyladenosine 18 is also described.
