Dr. Deborah Langosch, LCSW, is a clinical social worker with over 25 years experience working with relative caregiving families. She is currently in private practice and employed at the Jewish Board of Family and Children's Services in New York City where she directs the Kinship Care Program. In addition, she is the chairperson of the Brooklyn Grandparents' Coalition and the co-chair of the NYC Kincare Task Force. Dr. Langosch received her MSW from Hunter College School of Social Work and her Ph.D. from New York University School of Social Work. Material for this article originated from the author's doctoral thesis.
