Damon L. Silvers, Ph.D., August 27, 1945 – July 2, 2016

This issue of Psychoanalytic Inquiry is dedicated to the memory of one of our contributors, Dr. Damon L. Silvers. Damon personified the dedicated professional in all aspects of his forty-year career. He wrote, presented, taught, and most important, he was an admired and skilled clinician. Damon had a special interest in the subject of hysteria; therefore, it is fitting that we honor him in this issue of Psychoanalytic Inquiry. His unexpected death has been a tremendous loss to all of us.
