ABSTRACT
A new procedure based on the use of sodium perchlorate (NaC1O4) and saturated potassium chloride (KCl) solutions for gold stripping from quaternary amine extraction systems is proposed for the first time. In this procedure, the stripping of Au(CN)2 − is accomplished by the ClO4 − ions in the first step, and the regeneration of quaternary amine is achieved by Cl− ions in the second step.
