ABSTRACT

The equilibrium constants of the extraction of nitric, hydrochloric and sulfuric acid and of their uranyl salts with trl-n-octylphoophlne oxide (TOPO), dissolved In different diluents, have been determined. Obtained extraction constants have been correlated with the corresponding dissociation constants of mineral aclda used. The more mineral acid dissociated, the less undlssoclated molecules of acid available and, as a consequence, the extraction process is less expressed.
