TRANSFORMATION WITH TRUSTWORTHY DIGITAL: POLICY DESIDERATA FOR BUSINESSES IN POST COVID-19 WORLD

 

Abstract

This paper discusses the global Digital Transformation trends in this pandemic and the state of end users’ trust in digital offerings of businesses. It depicts the key factors and dimensions that impact digital trust and are necessary to succeed in post COVID-19 world. It then highlights the policy recommendations and way forward for businesses to ensure digital trustworthiness.

Abhik Chaudhuri is author of the award-winning book “Internet of Things, for Things and by Things” published by CRC Press, US. He is a Chevening Fellow (UK), Fellow of Cloud Security Alliance (US) and Senior Member of IEEE. As Editor and Advisory Group Member on Trustworthiness at ISO/IEC JTC1/SC27 Abhik is providing thought leadership in developing global standards on digital governance of Industry4.0 technologies. At IEEE-SA Abhik is a Co-Editor developing the standard P7003 on Algorithmic Bias Consideration. He is a contributing Expert of World Economic Forum - G20 Global Smart Cities Alliance on Technology Governance.
