Harold Joseph Highland

Harold Joseph Highland, PhD, FICS is the managing director of the microcomputer security evaluation Laboratory of Compulit, Inc., Elmont NY. He also is a Distinguished Professor Emeritus of the State University of New York at Stonybrook. Highland was the first recipient of the International Federation of Information Processing Societies Kristian Beckman Award. He also has been honored by numerous other organizations, including the Irish Computer Society, the Finnish Computer Society, and the Canadian Information Processing Society. Highland has written numerous technical articles and more than 25 books over the past 35 years.
