George Henson is assistant professor of Spanish Translation at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey and translation editor for Latin American Literature Today. His book-length translations include Elena Poniatowska’s The Heart of the Artichoke and Sergio Pitol’s The Art of Flight, The Journey, The Magician of Vienna, and Mephisto’s Waltz: Selected Short Stories.
