Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate student perceptions of diversity in higher education and continuing educational settings. Students in teacher preparation and school administration programs were administered a survey and significant differences related to attitudes toward diversity were found. Results of this study indicate that enrollment in more than one course that discusses diversity can impact students’ personal and professional lives.
