Jodi Dean

Jodi Dean is author of The Communist Horizon (2012), Crowds and Party (2016), and Comrade: An Essay on Political Belonging (2019), all published by Verso. She teaches at Hobart and William Smith College in upstate New York, where her fearless theorizing merges with on-the-ground activism and political engagement. Her revival of a communist ideal is a notable and very distinctive achievement.

Terrell Carver

Terrell Carver has published scholarly works over many years in the history of political thought, including edited texts and translations from Marx and Engels. He is a recipient of the Charles A. McCoy award for career achievement from the Caucus for a New Political Science. He teaches at the University of Bristol, UK across a variety of research interests including post-structuralism and visual analysis.
