Defining a Corporate Information Policy

Pages 3-8 | Published online: 31 May 2007

Abstract

The MIS department is an integral part of most organizations; in too many cases, however, this is not reflected in corporate policy. To meet the organization's information needs effectively, MIS management must establish a corporate information policy, which requires an understanding of corporate goals and MIS's role in achieving them.
