What You Should Know about Local Area Networks

Abstract

As local area networks have developed in response to rapid growth in the distribution of computing power and intelligence, they have found application in a wide range of industrial and commercial areas. This growth has resulted in different definitions and alternative architectures, which can be confusing to the MIS manager attempting to use them.
