Standardizing Online Systems Architecture

Abstract

Architectural standards can have a significant impact on the cost-effectiveness of online information systems. This article discusses how establishing a specified, consistent architecture for an organizations information systems portfolio can reduce development and maintenance expenditures, improve resource utilization, and better client relations by facilitating systems understanding and simplifying training.
