User-Friendly Applications Development in a Relational Data Base Environment

Abstract

Many current relational data base management systems provide not only relational features but a foundation for making visual programming tools available for various functions. Under such systems, traditional methods are not required to build certain applications, enabling end users to use a data-oriented approach to develop applications with minimal support from the MIS department.
