Implementing an Executive Information System: Seven Steps for Success

Abstract

The design of an executive information system (EIS) must be easily accessible to its nontechnical executive users and flexible enough to accommodate these executives' changing needs. Such unique requirements demand a specific approach to designing and implementing such a system. This article provides seven steps that can help MIS managers create a successful EIS.
