Following publication of the above article in Health Care for Women International, an author who has previously published in our journal, informed the editors that a section of this article labeled “the Ecology of Household Work” is remarkably similar to her own work on “struggle in the context of household work” that appeared in Volume 26 of the journal. Our immediate investigation revealed that portions of the Jegen manuscript exemplify plagiarism. We therefore retract this paper.
