Asuman Aksoy

Asuman Guven Aksoy ([email protected]) was born in Turkey. She received her Ph.D. in mathematics from the (University of Michigan. After two years at Oakland University in Michigan, she joined Claremont McKenna College in 1987 where she is now Professor of Mathematics. Her research interests include Banach and modular space theory, operator theory, and fixed point theory.

Mario Martelli

Mario Martelli ([email protected]) was born and educated in Florence, Italy receiving his degree in mathematics in 1966. He joined Claremont McKenna College in 2000 following thirteen years at California State University Fullerton, eight years at Bryn Mawr College, and twelve years at the University of Florence. In 1994 he received the Distinguished Teaching Award from the MAA Southern California Section. In 2000 he received the MAA Certificate of Meritorious Service. His professional interests include dynamical systems, fixed point theory, and differential equations.
