Abstract

Professors Buzaianu and Chen provided some selection procedures in the multi-treatment clinical trials set up having a control, with binary responses, using curtailment procedure. In this present discussion article, we discuss the possibility of using different possible sampling designs, including the adaptive designs, and the possibility of using inverse sampling in the set up of Buzaianu and Chen. We also indicate the necessity of extending the approach for non-Bernoulli responses.
