Abstract
A method for the compilation of isarithmic maps depicting the diversity of natural complexes is described and their utility illustrated by the example of a study of entomological complexes [insect populations] in a particular area. Such maps can be used to clarify the effect of local natural conditions and human activities on a broad range of geographic features.
