Abstract
A program of observation and mapping of ring structures of the southern portion of the former USSR from imagery obtained from manned space stations is described. Particular attention is devoted to a description of the interpretation keys and geological structures of the diverse ring structures of the Caspian Depression and eastern Kazakhstan.
