Gitta Strehlow

Gitta Strehlow has been working over 20 years with adults at Bethesda Hospital Hamburg-Bergedorf, Clinic of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy and in parallel with sexually abused children. She wrote her dissertation about Music Therapy for Borderline-Personality Disorder patients. Since 2019, Dr. Strehlow has been Professor of Music Therapy at the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre (Germany). Her publications and research interest  include psychiatry, trauma, psychodynamic thinking and mentalization.
