Moya Henderson

Moya Henderson lives in Sydney, Australia, and continues to write music. Apart from her opera, Lindy, (co-librettist, Judith Rodriguez), other works she considers of some significance are: Six Urban Songs: The Patrick White Song Cycle) Pellucid Days: The Bruce Beaver Song Cycle; Wild Card: The Dorothy Hewett Song Cycle; the G'day Africa series of chamber works and Td like to name them all by name: the Anna Akhmatova Requiem (to be premiered in April, 2010, by the Sydney Philharmonia). She is currently working on Lovely How Lives: The Judith Hemschemeyer Song Cycle, and the opera, Their Eyes Were Watching God, based on the novel of the same name by Zora Neale Hurston.
