Steven Knopoff is Head of Studies, Musicology, and Lecturer in Music at the Elder Conservatorium of Music, The University of Adelaide, Australia. His research and publication has focused on traditional music of the Yolngu people of Northeast Arnhem Land. He is an editor for the Journal of Music Research Online and a past President of the Musicological Society of Australia.
