Deidre Rickards
Deidre Rickards OAM is a graduate of the University of Newcastle, Deakin University, Australia and the Royal College of Music (London), UK. She has worked in a number of Departmental schools and Directed Music Departments in private schools in Armidale, New South Wales. Deidre has contributed to the Sydney Symphony Orchestra's education programme by producing teaching documents based on repertoire presented by the SSO in School's programmes. In recent years she has designed and administered an education programme for the New England Conservatorium of Music called ‘Chamber Music in Your School’. She has been an active supporter of the Musica Viva (Country-wide) programme and is a committee member of the Armidale branch. Email: [email protected]
