Abstract

This article is a conversation amongst three high-profile writers and thinkers about masculinity in the past and the present. The focus is Latin America, with international examples as well. The panellists are Cuban historian Julio César González Pagés, Anne Rubenstein, an historian of Mexico, and Michael Kaufman, a well-known activist and thinker in masculinity studies.

Cet article est une conversation qui réunit trois auteurs et penseurs réputés de la masculinité, passée et présente. Le débat se concentre sur l’Amérique Latine et comporte également des exemples internationaux. Les membres du panel sont l’historien cubain Julio César González Pagés, Anne Rubenstein, historienne du Mexique, et Michael Kaufman, activiste et penseur bien connu dans le milieu des études de la masculinité.
