La pratique de l’art-thérapie en France (The Pratice of Art Therapy in France)

Abstract:

This article traces a generalized portait of the practice of art therapy in France when compared to Quebec art therapist’s practices and working conditions. Data was obtained through exchanges with diverse French art therapists that the author had acquainted through professional activities in France. The author gathered reflections concerning the CA of the Fédération française des art-thérapeutes (FFAT) relating to art therapy in France. Other themes explored were the lived experiences of French art therapists, the conditions of practicing art therapy, the presence of various art therapy groups and the current position of art therapy in France.

Résumé:

Cet article trace un portrait général de l’art-thérapie en France, permettant de comparer avec la pratique et les conditions de travail des artthérapeutes au Québec, portrait obtenu à travers des échanges de l’auteure avec différents acteurs de la scène art-thérapeutique française rencontrés à travers diverses activités professionnelles en France depuis 2012. Ainsi, l’auteure a pu recueillir les réflexions du CA de la Fédération française des artthérapeutes (FFAT) sur l’art-thérapie en France, le vécu des art-thérapeutes français, les conditions de pratique, les divers groupes en présence dans le milieu de l’art-thérapie et la position actuelle de l’art-thérapie en France.
