Frank J. Krompak
Frank Krompak is an assistant professor of communication at The University of Toledo. He has previously taught at The University of Texas at Austin, Texas Tech University in Lubbock, and Franklin College in Franklin, Indiana. He began work in journalism with United Press International’s Washington Bureau in the early 1960’s. He has more recently worked for The Toledo Blade as a writer and editor. He has been active as a freelance photographer and author since 1965. He completed his doctorate in 1975 at The University of Texas at Austin and also holds an M.A. in history from Texas Tech. His main research interests are in Depression-era-dournalism in the United States and ancient media systems, particularly the dissemination of news on Roman coinage.
