Abstract
Leonora LaPeter Anton is an enterprise reporter for the Tampa Bay Times. She was part of a three-member team that won a Pulitzer Prize in Investigative Reporting in 2016 for a series on violence and neglect in Florida’s state-funded mental hospitals. Anton previously received the American Society of News Editors award for deadline reporting in 2000, the same year that she joined the Times after writing for other newspapers in Florida as well as Georgia and South Carolina.
